A2IM Executive Mentor / Mentee Program: Applications Now Open!

The A2IM Mentor Program promotes the mission of music industry education and connection-building on a qualitative level. This unique program supports the professional and personal development of independent music executives across all career stages.

Cycle 3 Timeline
Applications Acceptance Period: August 17, 2020 – Sept 11, 2020. The program runs from Oct 15, 2020 – March 31, 2021

*** EnterGain, the talent, and human capital advisory firm will offer a “Mentorship 101” workshop for the volunteer mentors. The workshop will review best practices to maximize the learning environment for the mentee and ensure you both gain from this experience. Both first-time and experienced mentors will benefit from this program. The workshop will take place in early October.

Please note that all applications are strictly confidential.

Once the application window has closed, A2IM will evaluate all of the applications and announce matches by 10.2.2020

A2IM is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit trade organization headquartered in New York City that exists to support and strengthen the independent recorded music sector. Membership currently includes a broad coalition of more than 700 Independently-owned American music labels. A2IM represents these independently owned small and medium-sized enterprises’ (SMEs) interests in the marketplace, in the media, on Capitol Hill, and as part of the global music community. In doing so, it supports a key segment of America’s creative class that represents America’s diverse musical cultural heritage. Billboard Magazine identified the Independent music label sector as 37.32 percent of the music industry’s U.S. recorded music sales market in 2016 based on copyright ownership, making Independent labels collectively the largest music industry sector.
